Fundraising
If you would like to help with fundraising, here are three ways that you can do it:

Set yourself a Sponsored Challenge.

Put one of our Charity Boxes in your business or place of work.

Take part in one of Our Fundraisers.
Sponsored Challenge

Why not set a challenge for you or your kids such as:

a sponsored swim/walk/run/hop
give up alcohol/chocolate for a month
a sponsored silence
sponsored head shave
grow your beard
screen-free weekend
sponsored slim
Once you have chosen your challenge, set up your fundraising page on Wonderful.org as follows:

You will need to login or create a new account for yourself.

Click on 'Create a fundraising page'.

Fill in the details of your challenge, ensuring that you select. 'Special Friends' as the charity you are fundraising for.

Make your page more personal by adding a photo and your story, and perhaps saying what Special Friends means to you.

Share on social media to all your friends.
-
Post regular updates and thank you messages to your supporters.

Organise a Fundraiser

Why not hold your own fundraiser such as a cake sale, car wash, car boot sale, garage sale, coffee morning, afternoon tea, dress down day at school or work or hold a stall at an event/fair (e.g. Tombola, Guess the Weight of the Cake, Name the teddy...) etc.

You can then donate your proceeds directly to Special Friends by clicking on 'Donate Now' on our Wonderful.org page.
​
Don't forget to add Gift Aid to your donation if you are eligible.
​
Remember, Wonderful.org pass on every single penny that you raise!

Our Fundraisers

From time to time Special Friends organise their own fundraising events and we rely on people like you to support them.
​
Our Festive 5k fun run has been a great success over the last few years. We are very excited about our brand new sponsored event which is 'accessible for all' that will take place on Sunday 26th April 2020.
Unfortunately our Spring Along event has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
