Special Friends is a small charity supporting
children with additional needs and their families in Belper and the neighbouring areas.

Our mission is to offer support through friendship and shared experiences to our families from the early stages of their special needs journey, with the hope that they need never feel alone.
Have you ever felt alone or overwhelmed?
Us too. There are actually a lot of us around but it can be really hard to find people who understand when you need them most. That is why we need Special Friends, to provide friendship and support to adults and children alike.
